ENGINEERING - GLOBAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT - DEFENSE- R&D
Sertec engineering company begins operating in Madrid in 1995.
In the beginning, Sertec begins doing Calculation and Finite Element Analysis for companies such as EADS-CASA Space DIvision. Then, Sertec hires expert design engineers in the use of CAD tools, primarily CATIA. This early work was done for the aerospace sector with the Eurofighter consortium, EADS-CASA, AIRBUS and ICSA.
In parallel, Sertec works on simulation closely with companies such as INDRA, EADS Simulation and Tecnobit.
Subsequently, Sertec starts working in the railway sector projects with CAF and Talgo.
During the development of the two large European programs of the past decade, the Airbus A380 and Airbus Military A400M, Sertec assists in the final design and implementation of design modifications.
The creation of Aerosertec group, born from the need to deliver 'turn-key' projects to customers, including Engineering, Manufacturing and Assembly, allows Sertec consolidate as the engineering of the group and partner with other companies to cover from raw material to final delivery, via machining, sheet metal bending, large-scale tooling and composite materials.
In recent years, Sertec has begun developing its own products, especially Missile and Aircraft Tracking Systems, Advanced Materials for Defense, Kits for Aircraft Upgrades and Modernization, etc.
Sertec´s future business line continue offering services through value-added engineering, unmanned vehicles, systems for defense and the knowledge of their engineers.
Sertec's bet for Research, Development and Innovation (R & D) is materialized in 2010 with the construction of its new Innovation Center in Getafe (Madrid).
KNOW-HOW
The experience obtained by Sertec in more than 100 successful projects gives us the ability and knowledge to participate in engineering projects worldwide. The ability of 75 engineers with an average experience of more than 8 years of engineering give the group the ability to cover the different stages that define an aeronautical project, either as the engineering part of Aerosertec group on a turnkey project or as engineering at a fixed price with customers.
TECHNICAL RESOURCES
We have design tools CAD / CAM / CAE, stress analysis programs and finite element computation. Also we have PLM tools and project control/management software.

Our quality management system is certified according ISO 9001:2003 and EN 9100:2008. ISO 14001 and PECAL 2110 in process of implementation.

INNOVATION
Sertec has opted for Research, Development and Innovation. Drawing on the experience of its senior engineers, Sertec made innovative projetcs in the areas of energy, defense, development of new materials, artificial and synthetic vision, virtual maintenance training, unmanned vehicles, and so on.
R & D
In 2010, Sertec begin construction of its new R & D centre of technologies and materials for the aerospace and defense. It will be located in the Technological Park TECNOGETAFE, in Getafe (Madrid).
This project has been funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation within the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2008-2011 and the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER) file number PCT-370000-2008-9 & PCT-470000-2009-6.
